Global Citizenship Lab: Berlin – La Courneuve – Cluj-Napoca
The project aims to contribute to the development of European citizenship skills of youth from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in Berlin (Germany), La Corneuve (France) and Romania by offering them shared cooperative learning experiences.

Target groups in Romania:
- 10 highschool students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds:
- 5 mentors/ teachers.
Aim:
- Development of active European citizenship skills of youth from socially disadvantaged backgrounds
Objectives:
- Develop and test a programme for developing active European citizenship competences of youth;
- Facilitate the cooperative learning of European youth;
- Share experiences among mentors and youth activists in the area of developing active European citizenship skills of youth from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Types of activities
1. Planning meeting to develop the action plan of the project;
2. Selection of participants;
3. Development of the transnational cooperative learning programme including topics such as identity, values, intercultural experiences, diversity, prejudices, democratic citizenship, the European and global labour market;
4. Organize and implement the transnational meetings;
5. Monitor and evaluate the program;
6. Disseminate the results and prepare report.
